Meadowbank Wharf, end of Bowden St, Meadowbank
Loop around Homebush Bay with a coffee stop. Suitable for beginners and children OVER 12 accompanied by an adult carer.
Milsons Point Station, Alfred St side.
A ride from Milsons Pt over the Harbour bridge through the city to Cooks River and then on the shared paths to Brighton then Woolooware where we turn around and cylce back to Wolli Creekand
Epping Station, east side
Start at the eastern side of Epping train station and head south and then cross the train line and follow the Epping-Carlingford bike path to the start of the Carlingford light rail. A gentle roll downhill alongside the light rail. At Rydalmere we deviate from the light rail line and cruise along the river to Parramatta wharf. At the wharf we cross the river. Variation for this ride extend along the PVC to Parramatta park for a lap or three of the park (adding a few Km) before coffee in parramatta park thence loop back following the Parramatta Valley Cycleway to Meadowbank. Then a few hills as we wind through Ryde and return to Epping train station. After the hills an optional second coffee at Epping
Various coffee stops and amenities along the way to recharge the batteries for the climb back to Eppingto Epping.

Fairmount Circuit, Glenwood

Epping Station, East side
Enjoy a loop from Epping to Meadowbank and Sydney Olympic Park then on to coffee at Harris Park. The return uses the new Carlo-Matta shared path next to the light rail, then through back streets of Carlingford and Epping to the start.
Meadowbank Wharf, end of Bowden St, Meadowbank
Off-road cycle route from Meadowbank to Marrickville, with a number of on-road sections that join the cycleway sections. We ride to Olympic Park then to S Strathfield then join the Cooks R. Cycleway to Marrickville for coffee
Eastwood Station, West side
Ride through the Hills district onto the M7 cycleway stopping at Moonrise Lookout. Return via Prospect and PVC to Meadowbank & uphill to Eastwood
Concourse, St Leonards Train Station
This is a Gelato Fairy Ride.
Coffee will be at Bar Italia in Leichhardt. We will take a slight detour to Cow & Moon in Enmore for Gelato.
Special start - Station Concourse, St Leonards Station. This will add ~8km to the overall distance.
No trains scheduled on T1 North Shore Line, however Metro is not affected by trackwork.
Explore and discover a new cafe or two starting from Sydney Harbour and traversing the cafe lifestyle of the inner city on the West side. (Part of the Inner City Cafe ride collection that experiences inner city cafe lifestyle to the South, East and West)
Eastwood Station (East side)
On road cycle lanes and local streets in Marsfield, Eastwood and Ryde, a stop at lookout at Denistone Park, includes Shrimpton‘s Creek cycle path and through Macquarie Uni.
Meadowbank Wharf, end of Bowden St, Meadowbank
Ride along the PVC into Parramatta Park, may stop at the rose gardens which are now out in bloom and onto Parramatta Lake then return for coffee in Parramatta. Return via North Parramatta and the M4.
Victoria Avenue and surrounding streets
The annual Chatswood StreetFair will be held on Saturday 7 September 2024 from 10am to 6pm in the heart of Chatswood.
The Chatswood StreetFair is the showcase event of the Emerge Festival which attracts tens of thousands of people from across Sydney. Main streets of Chatswood are closed off for more than 120 stalls, a colourful community parade, entertainment stages, and many more activities.
Bike North will be having a stall - drop by and say hello or volunteer to help person the stall.

Turramurra, Cameron Park (cnr Gilroy and Eastern Rds)
A Slice of Banana Pie means you can have your pie and eat it at Pie in the Sky after a spin up the highway, then burn it off climbing out of Bobbin Head, the sensible side.
Bella Vista Metro Station
A continuous medium-paced ride coupled with an exploration of preserved parklands, indigenous heritage and a European historic site. Bailout point would be Rooty Hill Station.
Meadowbank Wharf, end of Bowden St, Meadowbank
Ride along the Parramatta Valley Cycleway, over Silverwater bridge to Sydney Olympic Park, then on to Concord for coffee. Return via Brays Park and the John Whitton bridge.
Turramurra, Cameron Park (cnr Gilroy and Eastern Rds)
Cycle to the sea starting at Turramurra, via McCarrs Ck Rd, Mona Vale then Manly. Ferry to Circular Quay and train to Turramurra.
Hornsby Park, northern end, opposite Council Chambers
Ride on undulating terrain to and across the Hawkesbury River with two good descents and climbs. Coffee stop at Pie in the Sky. Experience with fast moving traffic is required.
Meadowbank Wharf, end of Bowden St, Meadowbank
Trilogy combines segments of three current Bike North rides into a longer ride with waterfront views.
Sutherland Station, East Side
A combination of highway, national park and coastal riding, replicating much of the famous ‘Gong Ride from Sutherland.

Central Coast ride starting at Tuggerah Station, about a one hours train ride from Hornsby, riding around Tuggerah Lake and the Wyong River finishing at Tuggerah Station for the train ride back to Hornsby

Difficult hilly ride via Brown‘s Waterhole, St Ives, Terrey Hills, West Head, Akuna Bay, Terrey Hills and return.
Hornsby Park, northern end, opposite Council Chambers
Ride along Old Pacific Hwy to cafe overlooking Brooklyn with great views. Back track to Hornsby. Moderate hills.

Mostly off-road cycle route from Meadowbank to Mascot, with a number of on-road sections that join the cycleway sections. We ride to Olympic Park then to S Strathfield then join the Cooks R. Cycleway to Tempe, then airport north path to Mascot for coffee.

Cross Parramatta river on John Whitton Bridge, ride through Rhodes and Concord West to Cabarita Ferry Wharf then Breakfast Point. Cross the river on the Putney Punt and return to Meadowbank on the riverfront route.
Hornsby Park, opposite Coronation St, near pool
A fun spin down the Galston Gorge. Travel through Arcadia and down to Berowra Waters. Climb to Pie for a well earned pie.

A tour of Eastwood, Macquarie Park and Lane Cove National Park. The route uses back roads and cycle paths and includes 3 optional short steep hills.
