Hornsby Park, northern end, opposite Council Chambers
Ride mostly through scenic bush areas mostly roads with lower traffic. Sections with busy traffic and no shoulder are also involved. Practise your descending and climbing skills. Visit one of Sydney’s famous bakeries. Minimal regrouping.
Hills Showground Metro Station Concourse
Ride the Parramatta River from the headwaters in the Hills District via Quarry Creek and Toongabbie Creek. Follow the Parramatta River and harbour bays and foreshores to the Sydney Harbour Bridge and North Sydney.
Each month the elected Committee of Bike North meets to review the previous month‘s activities, plan future activities and discuss matters relevant to members and the club. Bike North members are welcome to attend by registering here.

Ride along the PVC to Parramatta Park. Do a lap or two of the park before coffee, then return via M4 cycle path.

Ride along Old Pacific Hwy to cafe overlooking Brooklyn with great views. Back track to Hornsby. Moderate hills.
St Leonards Station, concourse
Ride with significant hills, mostly on back roads, through to the Spit, Arabanoo Lookout, North Head/Old Man‘s Hat. Return via Manly Vale and Spit. Minimal regrouping.

Off-road cycle route from Meadowbank to Marrickville, with a number of on-road sections that join the cycleway sections. We ride to Olympic Park then to S Strathfield then join the Cooks R. Cycleway to Marrickville for coffee

Meadowbank, opposite the ferry wharf
Ride via the Armoury, over the Silverwater Bridge to Parramatta Park via the PVC. We then proceed to coffee at Lake Parramatta before returning to the start via Harris Park, the M4 cycleway and Olympic Park.

This year you can choose from seven ride options, ranging from the Family Ride that’s full of fun, the iconic Classic to the exclusive 300km club. Explore Melbourne’s Port Phillip Bay by bike. With closed roads and full on-route support make this your ride for 2023!

The Family Ride which is full of fun! Have a blast with family and friends on fully closed roads as you explore Albert Park on two wheels, and kids under 15 ride free!
50km – The perfect opportunity to ride over the iconic West Gate Bridge to Williamstown and back, and kids under 15 ride free!
100km – Ride over the West Gate Bridge to Williamstown and back before rolling on Melbourne’s legendary Beach Road.
135km – Geelong StartThe 135km starts in Geelong before hopping on the ferry to Sorrento and riding to the Albert Park finish via Melbourne’s iconic Beach Road.
200km – The return ride takes in the best of the Mornington Peninsula on the way to Sorrento, before rolling back to Melbourne via Beach Road.
The Classic – Trace the outline of Melbourne’s Port Philip Bay, hop on the ferry to Sorrento and return to Albert Park via Melbourne’s famous Beach Road on the classic 220km circuit.
300km – Think you’ve done it all? The 300km loop will test the most seasoned riders while giving the full experience of Port Phillip Bay.
Around the Bay raises money for Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision, an Australian charity that helps fund the research that results in better treatments for patients with Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes. This is the original recreational ride!

Visit historic La Perouse, Yarra Bay and Molineaux Point. Leaving from Sydney Harbour, travel East through Centennial Park, past the greens of Randwick Racecourse and the University of NSW to our historic destination.
EASTWOOD STATION WEST SIDE
Cross John Whitton bridge to Homebush Bay, visiting the Millennium Markers, with a coffee stop included. Most hills optional.
Ride on the M7 cycleway and visit Nurragingy Reserve to Lighthorse Interchange (Spaghetti Junction) and return. Coffee at Rooty Hill shops
Artarmon Station, East side
Ride with significant hills, mostly on back roads, through to the Spit, Arabanoo Lookout, Little Manly, North Head and Manly Dam. Return via Manly Vale and Spit. Minimal regrouping.
Turramurra, Cameron Park (cnr Gilroy & Eastern Rds)
Ride with scenic bush views climbing Bobbin Head north side and undulations along the Old Pacific Highway and on to the Hawkesbury River at the town of Brooklyn. Return with climbs to Pie in the Sky and through Bobbin Head south side. Route includes bail-

Ride over Gladesville Br around Iron Cove to a cafe in Norton St Leichhardt. Return via Five Dock & Concord.
Lane Cove National Park, near the Weir, Max Allen Rd
Lane Cove National Park riverside route up to Macquarie Park, cycle through to the University for coffee. Return via Epping Rd cycle path and Lachlan’s Line Helix Bridge. Descend through LCNP back to the weir.

Ride the Rail Trail and the PVC to Liverpool and return with the all important coffee stop included.

North Sydney Station (Blue Street)
From the North Shore to Coogee Beach in the East - offering scenic delights over the Harbour Bridge via Lavender Bay, through the city, past terrace homes, into the lush greens of Centennial Park, then Coogee beach for views of the beach and ocean.

Ride through the Hills district onto the M7 cycleway stopping at Moonrise Lookout. Return via Prospect and PVC to Meadowbank & uphill to Eastwood

We start from Harris Park and make our way to Oatley Park via Mirambeena parklands. This is a nice big loop with a good tour of Oatley Park as the prime feature.

Ride via Lane Cove NP to Eastwood, Meadowbank then PVC and across to Olympic Pk. After coffee, return via ANZAC and Harbour bridges.

These two consecutive trails make a beautiful out-and-back ride through some easily-accessible, pristine bushland with some beautiful views at the turn-around point. The trail is wide, usually fairly comfortably surfaced, but with a few short climbs and rocky descents.

A ride from Milsons Pt over the Harbour bridge through the city to Cooks River and then on the shared paths to Brighton then Woolooware where we turn around and cylce back to Wolli Creekand
Epping Station, East side
Enjoy a loop from Epping to Meadowbank and Sydney Olympic Park then on to coffee at Harris Park. The return uses the new Carlo-Matta shared path next to the light rail, then through back streets of Carlingford and Epping to the start.

For those wanting to Wow! their cycling photos, join this special interest group ride and receive guidance on taking your best photos. The route will provide opportunities to see places of both historical interest and beauty,including combinations of man-made and natural subjects. A bonus feature will include free admission to a special photography-related exhibition. Although smartphones are ubiquitous these days, any portable camera is suitable for this ride
