The ride takes riders from the North Shore across to 7km of southern beachside shared pathway stretching from Kyeemagh, Brighton Le Sands, Ramsgate Beach through to Sans Souci.
The ride reaches this sandy beach shared path via the Harbour Bridge, Pymont Bridge and Anzac Bridge. The journey will take riders through inner city terrace home areas such as Newtown, Mcdonaldtown, Erskinville, and Alexandria to reach Tempe.
The return pathway takes riders a different way to pass the Airport, the outskirts of the University of NSW, onwards to the lush greens of Centennial park, Bourke St, Central, Pyrmont and then on to the Harbour Bridge once more.
There are many convenient early exit points (train stations) available nearby the route for example the City, Central, Mcdonaldtown, Erskinville, Mascot, and Tempe. Additionally, riders can turn around at any point and retrace the route. If a rider leaves the ride, they should let the ride leader or sweep know BEFORE leaving the ride, ensuring the person acknowledges they heard you!

All riders must wear an approved helmet and carry water, at least one spare tube plus a pump.

While on Bike North rides and activities, you may be photographed or videoed. Photographs and videos
may be used by Bike North for social media or promotional purposes. If participants do not wish to be
included in social media, they should make it known at the beginning of the activity or as soon as possible
and other participants must respect their wishes.
