This great ride completes 6 long climbs in following the Classic Century route with extension to Purse's bridge (18KM more), for arguably the best ride in northern Sydney.
We follow a clockwise loop through Hornsby, down and up Galston Gorge, breeze through Arcadia and descend to the ferry at Berowra Waters before climbing up to Cowan for a quick stop. We continue along the Old Pacific Highway down and across the Hawkesbury River and up the Mt White hill to a turn-around point at Purse's bridge after Mooney Mooney Creek before coming back down then up to Pie in the Sky for a well-earned coffee and pie. The undulations back along the highway are likely to be more challenging than usual, and then the Bobbin Head descent and climb will nicely finish off the ride.
