Late start reflecting Winter, the long commute from most BNers' homes, and peak-hour avoidance.
Starting at Windsor Station to encourage train use, including option of Metro plus 4km simple, flat-ish, shared-path ride from Tallawong Stn to Schofields Stn. This start adds 1+km to standard route.
Scenic ride through Grose Valley, Kurrajong and Freemans Reach. Most of the ride is along thin ridge lines looking over fertile valleys on either side. There are 6km very flat, late in ride.
The only refreshment stop, Kurrajong after 31km, will be an early lunch stop. (Have coffee before ride?)
At time of posting, the weather forecast is promising (Kurrajong max 20!?). The ride will be cancelled if the forecast deteriorates significantly.
