From Meadowbank Wharf ride westwards along the Parramatta Valley Cycleway (PVC). After 8km, turn R up towards University Western Sydney (UWS) to join the wide shared path aside the light-rail for 5km to Carlingford.
At the path end, U-turn and return on the path. This time passing UWS to continue ahead to cross the Bidgee Bidgee Bridge to stop at Tramway Station. Turn left find and head south down Alfred St for coffee in Alice St. After which continue south on Alfred St towards the M4. Turn left under bridge to join the M4 cycle path, continue under then alongside the M4 motorway which provides a low stress route back through Homebush towards Wentworth Point. Crossing Homebush Bay on Bennelong Bridge over to Rhodes and back to Meadowbank.
The ride normally takes about 3 and a half hours at a steady pace.
