Expanding the Bike North Ride Library – One Epic Climb at a Time!
We’re levelling up the variety in the Bike North Ride Library — already the envy of many.
Double Century Dreams Bumble Hill is designed for cyclists who love longer distances, big climbs, and a serious challenge.
Perfect for anyone training for big events or those simply chasing the thrill of elevation.
The ride features 200km distance and over 3000m of elevation. This route has all the hallmarks of a hilly gran Fondo: Big enough to build serious endurance Short enough to be home before sunset
Along the way cyclists traverse Galston Gorge, Berowra Waters, Mount White, Mooney Mooney to Reptile Park and Yarramalong Valley making it epic!
Instead of joining other clubs for a long-distance ride (like Audax), why not ride with your own crew — people you know, trust, and enjoy cycling with in Bike North?
Massive thanks to:
Andrew Elliston for ride logistics and guidance
Trevor Nash for help designing and hosting the route
Brian Lynne for approving the ride in time for the October long weekend
David Thomson – Support and encouragement for new rides.
With recent additions like...
Eastern Reptiles
Double Century Dreams & Bumble Hill
…you can expect even more exciting endurance rides this summer and beyond. Stay tuned!
