This ride is an optional prolog for next day's "A Full Wheelbarrow of Gravel", led by James Kellas. The prolog will be cancelled some 40 hours beforehand if weather forecast unattractive.
Ride to Webbs Ck ferry, then to St Albans following the Macdonald River, for lunch at The Pickled Wombat. After lunch, ride back to Wisemans on the other side of the river, along Settlers Rd. About half of the return road is dirt. This very picturesque ride is mainly on quiet country roads.
