Special Notes
This big loop of the North Shore and Inner West takes in the Harbour which leave the rider with the feeling of achievement and have undertaking an adventure. However the rider must be comfortable with numerous short hills, and the long climb from Meadowbank to Epping on return (option to leave earlier).
The effort will be rewarded in the middle by coffee on the harbour (subject to cafe availability given Anzac Day closures on the day). (Take a snack in case).
Standard Notes
A ride on commute routes to the city from NW Sydney using routes on both sides of the harbour.
The ride travels from Epping via backstreets and cycle ways onto the Epping to Gore Hill cycleway, followed by backstreets on the lower North Shore through North Sydney for coffee by the harbour at Milson's Point.
Cross the bridge and through the City to head west via ANZAC bridge, Lillyfield, Five Dock and Concord before crossing the Parramamtta River for a gradual climb up to the finish.
This ride will be at a medium pace but with few regroups. The ride is mostly on roads with marked cycleroutes; some cyclepaths and some hills.
Riders should have confidence in handling a bike in some traffic, and be familiar with gearing and climbing hills.

harm. Bike North, the ride organisers and leaders wish to warn you of the risks and hazards that are an
inherent part of cycling, and to take care to prevent putting yourself, your fellow participants and/or others
into danger. By registering for this ride, you accept the warning as to risk, and you agree to ride in a safe
and responsible manner and to obey all Australian Road Rules.
All riders must wear an approved helmet and carry water, at least one spare tube plus a pump.
Health Warning
Riders must not attend if sick, have Covid-19, influenza or symptoms of any communicable disease.
Social media
While on Bike North rides and activities, you may be photographed or videoed. Photographs and videos
may be used by Bike North for social media or promotional purposes. If participants do not wish to be
included in social media, they should make it known at the beginning of the activity or as soon as possible
and other participants must respect their wishes.
