** Note ** Cancelled if raining / adverse weather conditions
We start this ride at Meadowbank Wharf and cruise along the northern shore of the Parramatta River following the Parramatta Valley Cycleway (PVC) for 9km, then 3km of backstreets to Parramatta Park. We loop the park and coffee there. We then head east through Parramatta to join the wide path aside the light-rail for almost 6km to Carlingford. From there, we have one km on shared paths aside busy roads, then backstreets to Epping, before turning south and down to Eastwood, West Ryde, and back to Meadowbank. There are bail-out options at ferry wharves (Rydalmere and Parramatta) and railway/Metro stations (Parramatta, Epping, Eastwood, Deniston, West Ryde). The ride normally takes about 3 and a half hours at a steady pace.
