We will end up in time for lunch at the Big Rides Day venue, the Hill Pavilion at Olympic Park.
This is a delightful romp along some of Sydney's prettiest waterways and parks. It is suitable for e-bikes and people (re)building their fitness. Everyone is welcome and we will have some Pino tandem bikes.
We will be taking this at an average of 17-19 kph, with plenty of stops to catch our breath.
We start this ride at Meadowbank Wharf and cruise along the northern shore of the Parramatta River following the Parramatta Valley Cycleway (PVC) route. We deviate off the route travelling via some roads though North Parramatta to Lake Parramatta. A short hill leaving the lake, then backstreets and a route through Cumberland Hospital to Parramatta Park. After a lap or two of the park, ride through Parramatta to coffee stop near the wharf. Return to the Big Rides Day lunch venue using the PVC.
