A scenic hilly 30 km ride through Crows Nest, Cammeray and Cremorne back roads to Headland Park, Mosman. Visit the Old Fort at Middle Head. Hear about the Hospital on the Hill, Annexe 21. Visit George's Head Fort and Bradley’s Head Fort. View the 22 plaques along Memorial walk and the Sydney(1) mast. At each point of interest, there is history. Catch the Ferry from Athol Wharf to Circular Quay ,then ride across the Harbour Bridge returning via North Sydney back roads to Naremburn shops. Or, if weather inclement - catch train from Milson's point to St Leonards, then ride I.5 k back to start location. The ride includes both steep ascents and descents where care must be taken. Bailout points along the return road route. This ride including Ferry, can take between 3- 4 hours to complete.
