Ride cycle path into Small St ,Willoughby to view an extant Walter Burley Griffin (WBG) and Eric Nicolls designed Incinerator. One of two remaining in NSW. Art display may be open in the old furnace room. Crossing main roads into Castlecrag to see many architectural styles including Walter Burley Griffin designs. Coffee stop at Castle Crag.
After which, we ride the back streets to Middle Cove and on to Harold Reid Reserve including 50m rough track. The Reserve has been declared one of the North Shore finest areas of natural bushland. Splendid views across Middle Harbour. Other than the road running along the spine of Middle Cove there are no WBG influences in this suburb. Return to Artarmon via Cordia cycle share path.
