Ride from Hornsby up the old Pacific Highway to Cowan and then down the hill to the Hawkesbury River and Brooklyn Marina. Turn around and climb the hill back to Pie in the Sky and then Hornsby.

Ride over Gladesville Br around Iron Cove to a cafe in Norton St Leichhardt. Return via Five Dock and Concord.

Parramatta Park- Tudor gates

This will be a shortened moonrise ride to coincide with the big rides day starting and finishing at Parramatta park.
We will start at Parramatta Park - tudor gates and ride past westmead hospital and onto the bike patg along windsor road until we get to the m7 cycle path stopping at Moonrise Lookout. Return via Prospect and PVC to Parramatta Park. New distance will be approx 65km.

Starting at the Tudor Gates of Parramatta Park, ride to the start of the M7 Cycleway to a turn off to Sugarloaf Ridge then returning to Parramatta Park via the Western Sydney Parklands Cycleway then back roads. This ride event will be quick moving and assumes experienced cyclists only.

Enjoy a loop from Epping to Meadowbank and Sydney Olympic Park then on to coffee at Harris Park. The return uses the new Carlo-Matta shared path next to the light rail, then through back streets of Carlingford and Epping to the start.

A slow ride to see some of Walter Burley Griffin‘s, amongst others, landscape architecture in Willoughby, Castlecrag and Middle Cove. Although low kms, the ride can take three hours including coffee stop. Lots of stops/history. Hills.

A ride for all members. New members are especially invited to come and see how Bike North rides are run. The New Members will be welcomed by the Membership Coordinator. Then the leader will talk about the things that make Bike North rides work well, such as hand signals, calls back and forth to alert riders re bollards, glass, and other hazards, bikes passing, etc, use of signposts and communication with sweep if necessary. We will practice these on the ride so all can see how it all works.
We will Off-road cycle route from Meadowbank to Marrickville, with a number of on-road sections that join the cycleway sections. We ride to Olympic Park then to South Strathfield then join the Cooks R. Cycleway to Marrickville for coffee. The return route will be via Dulwich Hill and Hawthorne Canal.

Around the Bay is Australia’s largest iconic cycle event
With seven ride options, this is a day on the bike everyone can enjoy!
This year you can choose from seven ride options, ranging from the Family Ride that’s full of fun, the iconic Classic to the exclusive 300km club. Explore Melbourne’s Port Phillip Bay by bike. With closed roads and full on-route support make this your ride for 2023!
The distances range from:
The Family Ride which is full of fun! Have a blast with family and friends on fully closed roads as you explore Albert Park on two wheels, and kids under 15 ride free!
50km – The perfect opportunity to ride over the iconic West Gate Bridge to Williamstown and back, and kids under 15 ride free!
100km – Ride over the West Gate Bridge to Williamstown and back before rolling on Melbourne’s legendary Beach Road.
135km – Geelong StartThe 135km starts in Geelong before hopping on the ferry to Sorrento and riding to the Albert Park finish via Melbourne’s iconic Beach Road.
200km – The return ride takes in the best of the Mornington Peninsula on the way to Sorrento, before rolling back to Melbourne via Beach Road.
The Classic – Trace the outline of Melbourne’s Port Philip Bay, hop on the ferry to Sorrento and return to Albert Park via Melbourne’s famous Beach Road on the classic 220km circuit.
300km – Think you’ve done it all? The 300km loop will test the most seasoned riders while giving the full experience of Port Phillip Bay.
Around the Bay raises money for Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision, an Australian charity that helps fund the research that results in better treatments for patients with Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes. This is the original recreational ride!
